Anne Wright Osteopath

The Osteopaths

Anne V.V. Wright D.O. (principal)

I trained at The British School of Osteopathy in London qualifying in 1989 after completing the 4 year full time diploma course. While working as an Assistant in two other osteopathic practices I set up my own practice in Ruislip in 1990. I extended my interest in sports injuries by running a sport injury clinic at Hayes Stadium for a few years and I also worked with Uxbridge Rugby Club treating their sports injuries for several seasons. I have attended many courses since qualifying including first aid, pregnancy related problems, dry needling (similar to acupuncture), strapping, knee injuries, shoulder injuries, naturopathy and numerous courses in Cranial Osteopathy which has become a speciality of mine, especially treating babies and children and expectant mothers. I now teach on the post-graduate cranial osteopathy courses at the British School of Osteopathy which also involves quarterly training days. I am very interested in what other complementary medicines can offer and have been responsible for setting up and running a local complementary therapists group in order to extend my knowledge and provide an informed referral system for patients who I feel may benefit from other treatments. Please ask me for details of practitioners I can recommend.
